Protected Designation of Origin
In the best Serpa’s tradition, we have created a PDO cheese of exceptional quality and irresistible palate. Produced with selected sheep’s milks, Serpa PDO is a semi-soft cheese, awarded several times.
This is the most famous cheese in all Alentejo, and is also considered one of the best in Portugal.
Queijaria Guilherme is currently the largest producer of this gourmet cheese.
